Dungeness Crab Stuffed Mushrooms

Directions

  1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Place mushroom caps on baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  2. In large bowl, mix together crab meat, garlic, Swiss cheese, Worcestershire, hot sauce, salt, mayonnaise, and Parmigiano-Reggiano.
  3. Place heaping Tbsp. of mixture intocap of each mushroom (more if you’re using portobellos).
  4. Bake mushrooms for 30 minutes or until cheese is bubbling. Serve warm.

Ingredients

 

  • 12 oz. cremini mushrooms, stems removed (or portobellos, if serving as an entrée)
  • 1 lb. lump Dungeness crabmeat
  • 1 tsp. chopped garlic
  • 1/4 1b. Swiss cheese, grated
  • 1 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 tsp. of your favorite hot sauce (Louisiana-style Crystal or Tabasco)
  • 1/2 tsp. kosher salt
  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 2 oz. Parmigiano-Reggiano cheese, grated
