Balsamic Black Garlic Halibut Steaks


  1. Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Add black garlic.
  2. In a bowl, combine balsamic vinegar, orange zest, orange juice, sea salt, and white pepper. Marinate both sides of halibut steaks in balsamic mixture.
  3. Place steaks in heated skillet and cook for 10 minutes (5 minutes for each side) or until fish flakes easily with a fork.
  4. Serve warm, garnished with cilantro and lemon wedges.

  • 2 (6 oz.) halibut steaks
  • 2 Tbsp. balsamic vinegar
  • 2 cloves black garlic (it has twice the antioxidants of regular garlic)
  • 1 small orange, juiced
  • 1 Tbsp. orange zest
  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • Dash of sea salt and ground white pepper
  • Fresh cilantro, chopped
  • Lemon wedges
