Reservation Policies

Holding Dates

As a way of appreciating our returning guests, Waterfall Resort Alaska automatically makes a reservation for them for the following year during their established time frame. We hold these reservations without deposit and without obligation through August 31.

On September 1, we open any dates not under deposit or contract to the public. Once reservations are released, Waterfall Resort requires a deposit or executed group contract to reserve specific dates.

Availability, Rates, and Quotes

Availability and rates are subject to change any time and without notice. We recommend booking early to secure the best dates and rates.

Verbal discussions with our crew are not guarantees of dates or rates. Be sure to request a written quote to secure the terms of your fishing trip. Waterfall Resort will honor pricing and hold dates provided in a written quote for up to ten days from the invoice date. Dates and rates in written quotes expire ten days from the invoice date unless secured by deposit.

Deposit and Payment

We urge our guests to book their preferred accommodations and dates well in advance. Waterfall Resort is the most popular fishing lodge in Alaska and demand is quite high. Dates not under deposit or held by a quote may be sold to other guests, and rates are subject to change.

Published rates are per person, double occupancy, in Boardwalk Cabins or Lodge Rooms, with four guests per cabin cruiser. Premium guest quarters (Egg House Suites and Tongass Townhouses) as well as upgrades for private accommodations (single occupancy) and cabin cruiser exclusivity (fewer than four guests per boat) are also available.

A $1,000 deposit or executed group contract is required at the time of booking to secure all reservations. You can make your deposit online easily and securely at your convenience. Dates not under deposit or contract may be sold to other guests without notice.

An additional deposit equal to 50% of the invoice total must be submitted no later than February 1, 2017.

The full balance is due no later than 60 days prior to the reservation arrival date. Reservations made after February 1, 2017, must be paid in full within ten days of booking. We accept Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover credit cards, and you can make online payments.

Reservations that do not fulfill the deposit and payment requirements above may be subject to cancellation.

Cancellations

We understand that at times unexpected things can get in the way of your Alaska sport-fishing adventure. To protect against this, we recommend that all our guests purchase travel insurance well in advance of their trip, so they know they’re covered in the event of an emergency.

Waterfall Resort Alaska is not responsible for loss of fishing time, lodging, food, transportation, baggage, or fish boxes; flight delays; or other incidents resulting from inclement weather or other conditions beyond our reasonable control. The following policy applies to all cancellations.

All cancellations will be assessed a minimum fee of $1,000 per person. Cancellations made fewer than 120 days prior to arrival date will be assessed an additional cancellation fee equal to 50% of the total package price. Cancellations made fewer than 60 days prior to arrival will be assessed a cancellation fee equal to 100% of the total package price. There are no exceptions to this cancellation policy.
