A well-planned Alaskan fishing trip can become a disaster without the right equipment and experienced fishing guides and a resort staff dedicated to ensuring your precious time away is maximized from the minute you step off the plane to when you are ready to return home.
When you arrive, you will be assigned a Guide and a Cabin Cruiser for the duration of your stay and we place only 4 Guests per Boat to ensure the most enjoyable Alaska Sportfishing Experience.

The Waterfall Resort Fleet – Cabin Cruisers:
Waterfall Resort offers Alaska’s largest private fleet of 25-foot, North River custom-built, state-of-the-art Almar Cabin Cruisers. Each Cabin Cruiser is built for our Guests’ comfort, safety and performance. Features include 225-horsepower Volvo Penta Diesel Engines, Heated Cabins and Air Suspension Seats for ultimate travel comfort.
Furuno Marine Electronics provide all of our Fish Finders, Radar, Global Positioning Systems (GPS) and Long-Range Communications Technology.

Each Guest is provided with all the “tools of the trade” to ensure the most successful and enjoyable trip possible. Our number 1 commitment is for your comfort and satisfaction. Expert & Experienced Alaska Fishing Guides:
Waterfall Resort’s staff of 25 experienced fishing guides is expert at putting you on Trophy-Size Salmon, Halibut and Ling Cod. Each of our outdoor guides is Coast Guard Certified and is a patient instructor who works well with Guests of all skill levels.
Our Alaska fishing guides compare daily local fishing reports for locating specific species and will update you about the current Salmon runs and Halibut catches. You don’t have to be an experienced Fisherman to enjoy Fishing at Waterfall Resort.

In the early 1900's, Waterfall was the largest salmon packing plant on the west coast of Prince of Wales Island. Like most canneries in Alaska, this remote operation on the Ulloa Channel was a complete, self- sufficient, temporary community. When the season was over, all but a few workers departed until the next summer's migration.
