Waterfall Creek Salmon Run: August, 2016*

Every summer in August the local pink salmon (humpback salmon) of Waterfall Creek swim home to spawn in the sparkling pools of our own namesake waterfall. Cheer them on and snap breathtaking wildlife photos as the “humpies” dodge black bears to make their epic journey! (*Event dates may vary based on salmon migration patterns.)

Waterfall Resort is an all-inclusive wild Alaska sport fishing adventure with service, convenience and value! Here’s what’s included:

Accommodation Upgrades


Package rates are based on double occupancy in Waterfall Resort Alaska’s boardwalk cabins or historic lodge rooms. Guests may upgrade to single occupancy, or to premium suites or townhouse accommodations.

  • Private Accommodations (single occupancy): $315 per guest per night
  • Family Size Townhouse Condos: $215 per guest per night (minimum 4 guests)
  • Egg House Executive Suites: $265 per guest per night (minimum 2 guests)

Private Cabin Cruisers


Package rates are based on four guests per cabin cruiser. Groups with fewer than four guests may share a boat, or upgrade to a private guided fishing experience.

  • 3 Guests per Boat: $315 per guest per night.
  • 2 Guests per Boat: $840 per guest per night.
  • 1 Guest per Boat: $3,000 per guest per night.

Kids Rate


We’re big believers in giving kids every reason to explore the great outdoors! Kids visiting Waterfall Resort are going to be reeling in some BIG fish! So we recommend bringing them along once they’re at least 12 years of age.
Kids 15 and under get 15% off market rates when fishing with an adult.

Veterans Salute


Historic Waterfall Cannery once supplied canned wild Alaska salmon to feed Allied forces in WWII. After a century of service we couldn’t be more proud to continue honoring our troops.
All active and retired military personnel are eligible to receive the Veterans Salute rate at Waterfall Resort, valid any time with no date restrictions.
